Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ninja Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reeves has chosen Set to Fail - Lamb of God as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ninja Assassin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Reeves!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Reeves lands with a nice combination. Assassin backs away looking to recover.

Assassin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reeves's half guard.
Assassin stops Reeves from getting back to his feet.
Assassin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Assassin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Reeves has managed to free his arm - good work.
Assassin thows a huge punch but Reeves dodges it nicely.
Assassin working Reeves over with strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Assassin is trying to control the action in half guard but Reeves is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Assassin with the ground and pound but Reeves uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Assassin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Reeves wants to stand and escape but Assassin is having none of it.
Assassin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Assassin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Assassin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Assassin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Reeves is looking to stand back up but Assassin counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Reeves.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Assassin prevents Reeves from standing back up.
Reeves is staying active underneath Assassin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Reeves taking some punishment here, with Assassin in his half guard.

Assassin wants to work for an arm triangle but Reeves is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Assassin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Assassin prevents Reeves from standing back up.
Reeves scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Assassin manages to mount him!

Reeves is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Assassin locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Reeves is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ninja Assassin!
