Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonnie Kiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Yamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonnie Kiger!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Kiger does no damage.
Yamamoto throws a low kick but Kiger avoids it.

Kiger throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yamamoto on the side of the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Yuri Yamamoto will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Yamamoto misses the jab.
Kiger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yamamoto tries to avoid it but Kiger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yamamoto to the ground. Yamamoto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
