Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Headstrong - Trapt kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kyle Nelson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rose feints a jab promting Nelson to slip. Rose then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nelson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Kyle Nelson has been cut.
Nelson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rose's waist but Rose gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nelson off to one side.
Nelson is breathing heavily.
Rose lands with a shot to the body.
Nelson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rose tries to bum rush Nelson with a series of wild strikes but Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nelson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nelson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rose rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nelson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rose lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nelson backs up against the ropes.
Nelson avoids a punch combination nicely.
A left and a right from Rose both land. Nice combination.
Rose scores with a sloppy right hand. Nelson should have avoided that one.

Kyle Nelson's cut is getting worse.
Rose uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nelson has time to react.
Rose jabs Nelson right on the nose. Nelson blinks but takes it well.
Rose lands a head shot.
Rose lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Nelson is rocked!
Rose connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Nelson tumbling to the canvas! Rose pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Nelson was done - good stoppage!
