The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopper tries to score a power double leg takedown but obrien sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hopper somewhat.
Hopper shoots in for a takedown but obrien shows good takedown defense.
Good exchange - obrien coming out on top.

obrien drops Hopper with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hopper looks back up at him and smiles so obrien waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Winky Hopper has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hopper is defended easily by obrien.
davis obrien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Winky Hopper.
Hopper looks up at the clock. Bad move! obrien lands a right hand from hell, dropping Hopper. obrien pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
