PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tupac Shakur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and austin nidorenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shakur comes into the arena with Fuck You blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

nidorenko drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shakur looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
nidorenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shakur swivels though and keeps the full guard.

nidorenko drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shakur manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now nidorenko has Shakur in his guard.

nidorenko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shakur can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

nidorenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shakur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shakur manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Shakur thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
nidorenko manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shakur manages to get himself to full guard.

nidorenko won't allow Shakur to sweep him here.
nidorenko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

nidorenko gets to his feet. Shakur looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Tupac Shakur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

nidorenko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
nidorenko looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. nidorenko lands a nice short elbow.
nidorenko slips a nice elbow through Shakur's hands, connecting with Shakur's forehead.
