Mellendrez drives through with a takedown into guard.

and Mellendrez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mellendrez won't allow Khanmak to sweep him here.

Mellendrez connects with a couple of short punches.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mark Mellendrez wasn't active enough on the ground.

Mellendrez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Khanmak to the mat! Khanmak manages to get full guard.

Mellendrez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khanmak paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mellendrez decides to stand back up. Mellendrez steps back and let's Khanmak get back to his feet.
