Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kron Kenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aron Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kron Kenny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aron Rogers!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenny swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Kenny.
Kenny tries a head kick but it misses.
Kenny looks to land a combination but Rogers avoids it well.

Kenny fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kenny throws a series of punches but Rogers avoids them all with ease.
Rogers buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kenny is looking to chop away at Rogers's legs.
Kenny scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Aron Rogers has been cut.
Kenny is breathing heavily.
Rogers avoids a kick to the body.
Rogers scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kenny throws a head kick but Rogers moves out of range.

Rogers closes the distance and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Rogers.

Rogers turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rogers manages to end up in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rogers throws an elbow but Kenny slips to the side and avoids it well.

Kenny seems a little lost for a moment, as Rogers dominates the positioning.
Rogers misses with the ground and pound.
Rogers tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rogers stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Kenny throws a right hand that Rogers ducks under and follows up with a left that Rogers also avoids with ease.
Kenny swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rogers moves into the clinch.

Rogers wants the takedown. Kenny is fighting it off but Rogers persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kenny's guard against the cage.

Kron Kenny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kenny misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kenny looks to land a combination but Rogers avoids it well.

Rogers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kenny tries to escape but Rogers is in control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rogers with the ground and pound but Kenny regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aron Rogers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Rogers drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Rogers just content to control the position.

Rogers stands up and beckons Kenny to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kenny throws a series of punches but Rogers moves out of range.
Kenny misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kenny attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Rogers closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rogers lands in his opponent's guard.
Kenny is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Rogers dives into side control.
Aron Rogers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kenny pushes Rogers away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rogers gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Aron Rogers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rogers winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
