The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Munroe but Munroe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lavin looks to throw the jab but Munroe is out of range.
Munroe misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lavin, as that shot connected.

Lavin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Munroe is fending him off so far but Lavin persists. Nope, Munroe circles away and we're back to standing.

Lavin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Munroe as he jumps to the side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Munroe throws a shot from downtown. Lavin moves away and avoids it.

Rex Munroe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Lavin might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Munroe has got the better of the exchanges.
