Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Oleg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Carpenter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carpenter has chosen Let The Sunshine In as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpenter throws the kick towards the body but Oleg avoids it.
Carpenter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Carpenter.
Some bone on bone action there as Oleg checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Carpenter looks to land a body kick but Oleg moved away.
Oleg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carpenter connects with a nice short shot to Oleg's temple.
