The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazama shoots in for a takedown but Gurama shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gurama takes a swing at Kazama's ribcage but misses.
Gurama tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kazama swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gurama misses with a body kick.

Kazama has Gurama up against the cage in a clinch.
Kazama is trying to break the clinch but Gurama is controlling him.

Kazama is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gurama can't fight it off and eventually Kazama manages to take the fight to the floor. Gurama looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gurama throws a couple of heel strikes.
Gurama striking off his back but it's not causing Kazama any problems.
Gurama will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Kazama postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kazama fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gurama sprawls well initially but Kazama persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gurama tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Kazama has hold of Gurama's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Gurama seems comfortable defending it but Kazama has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Gurama is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Gurama is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kazama couldn't care less - he's delighted!
