Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudolph Rapinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rapinsky comes to the cage accompanied by Leningrad - Mamba Huyamba. Manuel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ruff Ryders Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rudolph Rapinsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Manuel!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rapinsky fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Manuel sprawls well initially but Rapinsky persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
The fight stays on the outside here - Manuel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rapinsky.
Rapinsky remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Manuel is looking for a sweep.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Manuel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Manuel is not content to let Rapinsky control the position.
Manuel tries to buck Rapinsky off but Rapinsky is having none of it.

Rapinsky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Manuel has escaped the position, nice work there.
Manuel is looking for a sweep.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Manuel moves in looking to clinch but Rapinsky pushes him off.

Rapinsky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manuel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Manuel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rapinsky keeps working.

Manuel is working Rapinsky over with some ground and pound from side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Manuel tries to stand but Rapinsky is controlling his head.

Manuel tries to clinch up but Rapinsky circles away and keeps his distance.

Manuel clinches up with Rapinsky and pushes him back against the cage.

Rapinsky works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rapinsky is keen to just control but Manuel is a slippery customer.

Manuel pushes Rapinsky off, looking to escape but Rapinsky dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Manuel is forced to tap! The fight is over!
