Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronko Nord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frano Bilandzija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bilandzija has chosen Croatia Pride as his entrance music. Bilandzija has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Bronko Nord has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frano Bilandzija!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilandzija throws a head kick but Nord moves out of range.
Frano Bilandzija seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bilandzija looks gassed!
Nord lands with a straight right. Bilandzija didn't see that one coming.
Nord takes the fight into the clinch.
Nord tightens his grip and picks Bilandzija up, before dumping him to the ground. Bilandzija manages to land in guard.
Nord works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nord is looking to advance position but Bilandzija won't allow it.
Nord is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bilandzija!
Bilandzija is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Nord is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bilandzija has managed to escape the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nord cracks Bilandzija with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
BOOM! Nord connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Nord has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nord lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Nord seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bilandzija for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bronko Nord dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Frano Bilandzija's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nord misses with a body shot.
Nord closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nord passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bilandzija!
Nord tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nord is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bilandzija to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bilandzija shrugs it off.

Nord lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nord's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bilandzija wants to control but Nord is having none of it.

Nord takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

You get the feeling that Bilandzija really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bilandzija is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Nord locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bilandzija is forced to tap!
