Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Senior Tres Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonka Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tres Santos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Killing in the name of - Rage Against the Machine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tres Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tres Santos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tres Santos shoots for a takedown but Tomas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A combination from Tomas does no damage.

Tres Santos moves into the clinch successfully.

Tres Santos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tomas tries a head kick but it misses.
Tres Santos is looking to chop away at Tomas's legs.

Tomas is wriggling around but Tres Santos manages to pass to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tres Santos is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Tomas tries to kick Tres Santos off but Tres Santos keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Tomas is desperately trying to improve his position but Tres Santos has a good base and remains in mount.
Tomas is squirming around, avoiding Tres Santos's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Tomas wants to try and get back to his feet.
Tomas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Tres Santos is nestled in close to Tomas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That has opened up Tonka Tomas's cut even more.
Tomas wants to sweep but Tres Santos has passed to side control!
Tres Santos cracks Tomas with a big right hand but Tomas just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The cut above Tonka Tomas's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Tres Santos has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Tonka Tomas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tonka Tomas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
