Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Krigare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by The Used - The Taste Of Ink. Krigare has chosen Achtung Pantzer by Raubtier as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krigare throws a hook but Hunter blocks it.
Hunter moves out of range as Krigare strikes.
Hunter shoots in but no luck this time.
Daniel Krigare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krigare connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hunter. Hunter circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Krigare misses with the combination.
Krigare stuffs the takedown.
Hunter moves out of range of the strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Krigare as he avoids it easily.

Krigare fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunter manages to avoid it.
Hunter dives in and grabs Krigare's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krigare pushes down on Hunter's head and hops out.

Krigare tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hunter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Daniel Krigare is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Krigare looks to throw the jab but Hunter is out of range.
Krigare is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hunter.

Krigare is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Hunter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Krigare.

Krigare fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunter manages to avoid it.
Hunter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krigare's waist but Krigare gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hunter off to one side.
Krigare throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Krigare throws a looping overhand right but Hunter ducks down to avoid it.
Oh Hunter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hunter seems to have got his legs back now.

Krigare darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krigare as he jumps to the side.
Krigare misses with a straight left.
Krigare tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunter was well out of range. Poor timing from Krigare.
Hunter misses with a takedown attempt - Krigare sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hunter prevents Krigare from getting the reversal.
Krigare is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hunter throwing strikes here but Krigare is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krigare is working to get back to half guard.
Hunter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunter looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Krigare tries to reverse the position but Hunter maintains control.
Hunter throwing strikes but Krigare uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Krigare is looking to control Hunter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Krigare avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Hunter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Krigare manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Krigare gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Krigare manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Krigare unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Hunter wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Krigare celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
