Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, J J Dolphin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Emilio Del Geno!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Geno displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dolphin.
Del Geno bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Dolphin ducks under a wild hook from Del Geno.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dolphin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dolphin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Del Geno.
The fighters circling - Del Geno throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Del Geno comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Dolphin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Del Geno is pushing down on Dolphin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dolphin is fighting to maintain full guard but Del Geno has managed to sneak the leg through.

Del Geno works to advance to full mount. Dolphin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dolphin shoots in for a double leg but Del Geno sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that J J Dolphin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Dolphin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Del Geno manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Del Geno connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Del Geno might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Emilio Del Geno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Del Geno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
