Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ripp Arrm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Merengue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merengue has chosen Flood of Red - Dont Sleep, Swim. as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Arrm. Beautiful body shot.
Merengue throws a head kick but Arrm moves out of range.
Arrm throws a nice inside leg kick.

and Arrm counters with a nice leg kick.
Arrm fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Merengue on the side of the head.
Arrm scores with a nice strike.
A punch lands to the side of Merengue 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice shot lands for Arrm.
Arrm lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Arrm feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Merengue's calf.

Merengue lands with a hook. Arrm tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Arrm avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Arrm sizes up Merengue with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Arrm is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Merengue is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Merengue flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Arrm anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Merengue and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Arrm slips an arm under Merengue chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Arrm has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Arrm is squeezing on Merengue like an anaconda would it's prey. Merengue fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ripp Arrm!
Ripp Arrm retains his middleweight title!
