Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
duprat shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

duprat misses with a head shot. Lee uses the momentum to regain guard.
duprat drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!

Lee wants to stand but duprat has his arm trapped.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lee tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
duprat shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.

duprat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if duprat can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
duprat is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lee is controlling him.
duprat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

duprat throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and duprat finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lee wants to stand but duprat has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
