The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kosonen drives through and clinches with Kivipaa against the cage.
Kosonen jumps guard but Kivipaa stands there with Kosonen around his waist. Kosonen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kivipaa presses Kosonen against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kivipaa lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kosonen backwards.
Kosonen fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Kosonen tries to pull guard but Kivipaa won't allow it.

Kosonen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kivipaa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kosonen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kivipaa avoids it really well and circles away.
Kosonen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kivipaa.

Kosonen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kivipaa sprawls well. Kivipaa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kosonen gets slowly back to his feet.

Kivipaa tries to bum rush Kosonen with a series of wild strikes but Kosonen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kivipaa feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kosonen's calf.
Kivipaa throws a hook to the side of Kosonen's head but Kosonen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fighters circling - Kivipaa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kivipaa throws a leg kick but Kosonen sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kosonen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kivipaa's waist but Kivipaa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kosonen off to one side.

Kosonen is rocked!
Kivipaa drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Kosonen's head, knocking him out cold! Kivipaa is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
