The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson throws the kick towards the body but Newtom avoids it.
Newtom misses with a takedown attempt - Tyson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice jab there from Tyson.

It looks like Aleks Newtom has been cut.
Tyson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyson stuffs the takedown attempt from Newtom. Newtom gets slowly back to his feet.
Tyson tries to bum rush Newtom with a series of wild strikes but Newtom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Newtom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyson's waist but Tyson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Newtom off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleks Newtom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Newtom ducks under a wild hook from Tyson.
Tyson looks to land a right hand but Newtom moved out of range.
Tyson scores with a sloppy right hand. Newtom should have avoided that one.

Newtom shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tyson sprawls well. Tyson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Newtom gets slowly back to his feet.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Tyson engages and cracks Newtom with a massive lead left hook - Newtom tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Tyson is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
