PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teemu Seppuuken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teemu Seppuuken!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seppuuken tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uzi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Uzi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Seppuuken shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Uzi as he avoids it easily.
Seppuuken drops his hands momentarily and Uzi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Seppuuken throws a series of punches but Uzi moves out of range.
Seppuuken steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Uzi. That one must have hurt.
Seppuuken looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Uzi drops Seppuuken with a beautiful combination! Seppuuken stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Uzi is looking for the KO!

It looks like Teemu Seppuuken has been cut.

Uzi lands a big head kick that sends Seppuuken tumbling to the mat! Uzi takes a step backwards and waves Seppuuken back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Seppuuken is rocked!
Uzi cracks the inside of Seppuuken's front leg.
Seppuuken is still on wobbly legs! Can Uzi finish him?
Uzi throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Seppuuken crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
