Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Piechocki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge Silva looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piechocki closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Piechocki pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Piechocki shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Piechocki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Piechocki shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Piechocki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Piechocki moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silva.
Silva digs a right hand into Piechocki's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Piechocki's gas tank.

Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Piechocki sprawls well. Piechocki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Piechocki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Piechocki moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Silva has worked his arm free - good work by Silva!

Piechocki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Piechocki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

I would just about give that final round to Ariel Piechocki.
