Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Lind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lord Humungus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Humungus has chosen My Speech as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humungus throws a looping overhand right but Lind ducks down to avoid it.
Lind lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Humungus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lind scores with a sloppy right hand. Humungus should have avoided that one.

Lind throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Humungus tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lind is in Humungus's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Humungus can't do much from the bottom here.

Humungus throws a strike aimed at the side of Lind's head but Lind avoids it well.
Lind is looking for a sweep.
Lind is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Humungus off and has taken his back!

Lind is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Humungus defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Lind doesn't have the hooks in and Humungus manages to turn into his guard.

Humungus throws a strike but Lind rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lind stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Humungus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We're going to have a standup here because Curtis Lind wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
