Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Orbach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoff Klease (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Geoff Klease enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jerry Orbach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Geoff Klease!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klease is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Klease swings for the body but Orbach moves out of range.
Klease misses with an attempted mid kick.
Klease tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Orbach paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Orbach tries to keep at a distance but Klease has taken the fight into the clinch.
Orbach tries to pull guard but Klease won't allow it.
Klease is trying to stall.
Klease tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Orbach just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Orbach jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Klease walks away with a smile on his face. Orbach gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Orbach shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Klease pinned against the cage. Klease gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Orbach is looking to take a break and control but Klease is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orbach wants to free his trapped foot but Klease is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Orbach has gone for a leg lock! Klease slips out almost immediately though and dives into Orbach's guard.

Orbach has his foot on Klease's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klease works his way back into a safe position though.

Klease decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Geoff Klease has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jerry Orbach.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Orbach, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
