Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Anusberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichnig Reedin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Anusberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichnig Reedin!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anusberg fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Anusberg shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Anusberg was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Anusberg unloads with some shots from mount but Reedin bucks and avoids them well.

Anusberg gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Anusberg shoots in for a double leg but Reedin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Reedin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Anusberg fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Anusberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Anusberg or perhaps it was just good defense by Reedin which made him look bad.
Anusberg explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Anusberg throws a head kick that Reedin semi-blocks.
The fight stays on the outside here - Reedin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Anusberg shoots for a double leg takedown but Reedin sprawls well. He's pushed Anusberg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Reedin tries to clinch but Anusberg is having none of it.

Anusberg is breathing heavily.
Anusberg misses with a takedown attempt - Reedin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Anusberg swats away the attempt to clinch by Reedin.
Anusberg shoots for a takedown but Reedin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Anusberg shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reedin but Reedin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Reedin wants to clinch.
Anusberg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reedin's waist but Reedin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anusberg off to one side.

Anusberg feints and as Reedin raises his hands in defense, Anusberg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Anusberg trying to control the position from guard on top but Reedin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reedin pulls Anusberg in close to prevent any damage.
Anusberg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reedin is keeping the position for now.
Anusberg advances position into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anusberg is looking to take a break and control but Reedin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Anusberg is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Reedin's shoulder. That is not cool.

The ground and pound from Anusberg seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Anusberg is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Anusberg seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reedin for as long as he can get away with.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Bill Anusberg just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Anusberg throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reedin's waist but Reedin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anusberg off to one side.
Anusberg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anusberg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Anusberg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reedin's guard.
Anusberg wanted to stand there but Reedin had control of the position.
Anusberg passes Reedin's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Anusberg throws a leg kick but Reedin sees it coming and moves out of range.
Anusberg tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Reedin counters with a two punch combo.
Reedin wants to clinch
and Anusberg counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reedin's knee momentarily.

and Anusberg counters by moving into the clinch.
Anusberg can't get the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Anusberg drops down looking for an ankle pick but Reedin pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Anusberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anusberg displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reedin throws out the jab.

Reedin keeps Anusberg at a distance using the push kick.
Reedin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Anusberg.
Reedin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anusberg tries to avoid it but Reedin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anusberg to the ground. Anusberg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Reedin tries to clinch but Anusberg is having none of it.

and Anusberg counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Reedin!
Reedin tries to lock up and control but Anusberg gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Reedin is trying desperately to improve position.
Anusberg lands a nice shot to the head.
Anusberg landing strikes from the mount and Reedin is in trouble!

The referee warns Reedin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Anusberg scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Anusberg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Reedin looks a forlorn figure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
The referee warns Reedin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Anusberg is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Anusberg lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Anusberg goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Reedin turns into him and now he's in Anusberg's guard.
Anusberg looking for a sweep. Not yet Anusberg, not yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anusberg is on top in guard.
Reedin seems to have recovered his senses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reedin wants to stand and escape but Anusberg is having none of it.

Reedin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anusberg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anusberg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Anusberg fails with the takedown

and Reedin counters by clinching up.

Anusberg ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Anusberg no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Reedin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Reedin wants to control from the top but Anusberg keeps moving.

Anusberg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reedin on the ground.
Anusberg is looking for a sweep. Reedin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Anusberg wants to get back to full guard.
Anusberg looks like he's trying to stand up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
The fighters circling - Anusberg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

The ground and pound from Anusberg seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Reedin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Anusberg wants to stand but Reedin is controlling his arm.

Anusberg decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Reedin closes the distance and clinches up with Anusberg, looking for a takedown. Reedin pushes Anusberg against the cage but Anusberg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Reedin stuffs the takedown attempt from Anusberg. Anusberg gets slowly back to his feet.

and Anusberg counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Reedin wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Anusberg has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Anusberg has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reedin is proving hard to escape from.

Bill Anusberg overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Anusberg is posturing up here but Reedin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Anusberg tries to roll out but it's too tight and Anusberg has to tap! Slick submission there by Reedin!
