Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Renz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray has chosen Feel me or kill me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Roman Ray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Ray!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ray manages to avoid it.

Ray scores with a takedown into Renz's guard.
Ray wants to pass the guard but Renz is keeping the position.
Renz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ray is one step ahead there.
Ray slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Renz slaps away a takedown attempt from Ray, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ray looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ray shoots in looking for a takedown. Renz tries to sprawl out of it but Ray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Renz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ray shoots in for a takedown but Renz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Renz throws a shot from downtown. Ray moves away and avoids it.
Ray shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Renz as he jumps to the side.
Renz throws a jab but it's blocked by Ray.
Renz tries to clinch up.
Renz just misses with a punch to the body.
Renz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ray pinned against the cage. Ray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Renz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ray!
Renz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ray is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ray is squirming around, avoiding Renz's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Renz will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ray is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adam Renz.
Well Renz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
