Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hallendro Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Nick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Filipovic lands.
Filipovic scores with a kick to the body.
Filipovic circles away from the clinch attempt.
Filipovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Filipovic slips a jab and a cross from Nick.
Filipovic tries a head kick but it misses.
Filipovic throws a series of punches but Nick avoids them all with ease.
Nick avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nick is defended easily by Filipovic.
Nick shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Filipovic defends it nicely.
Filipovic connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Don Nick has been cut.
Nick avoids a kick to the body.
Some wild striking there from Filipovic.

Nick fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Filipovic sprawls well initially but Nick persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Filipovic is not content to let Nick control the position.
Nick seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nick throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Nick seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Filipovic won't allow Nick to pass to mount.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Don Nick wasn't active enough on the ground.
Filipovic throws a right hand that Nick ducks under and follows up with a left that Nick also avoids with ease.
Filipovic moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nick throws a push kick but Filipovic slaps the foot to one side.
A thudding body kick lands there by Filipovic!
Filipovic stalks Nick and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nick's face. Nick staggers backwards, shaken.
Filipovic throws a head kick that misses.
Nick throws a right hand that Filipovic ducks under and follows up with a left that Filipovic also avoids with ease.
Filipovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nick pushes Filipovic up against the ropes in a clinch.
Nick tries to pull guard but Filipovic holds him up against the ropes and eventually Nick drops back down to his feet.
Hallendro Filipovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Nick.

Nick jumps guard and drags Filipovic to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Nick wants to stand but Filipovic is controlling the position.
Filipovic is looking to stand up but Nick won't let him.

Nick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Filipovic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nick is looking to stand up but Filipovic isn't so interested in that idea.
Nick controls Filipovic momentarily but Filipovic frees himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Don Nick.
Filipovic lands a nice looking body kick.
Nick looks for the body kick but Filipovic saw that one coming.
Filipovic throws a one two combo.
Filipovic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Filipovic paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Filipovic.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Filipovic lands the left hand.
Nick tries a head kick but it misses.
Nick ducks right into an uppercut from Filipovic.
Nick avoids a punch combination nicely.
Filipovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Filipovic throws a head kick that half lands.

Nick is rocked!
Filipovic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Filipovic.

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Filipovic throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Nick is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the ropes! Wow!
