Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gorden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iain Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorden comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up . Iain Durrant is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorden throws a shot from downtown. Durrant moves away and avoids it.
Durrant closes the distance and clinches up with Gorden, looking for a takedown. Durrant pushes Gorden against the cage but Gorden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gorden does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Gorden displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Durrant.
Durrant shoots in for a takedown but Gorden shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ben Gorden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iain Durrant.
Durrant throws out a loose jab but Gorden uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gorden leaves Durrant with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gorden lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gorden.
Gorden lands with an overhand left.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Durrant.
Durrant looks gassed!
Durrant walks into a left hand.

Gorden gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Durrant to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Durrant is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gorden has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Durrant is looking to defend but Gorden has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Durrant! Gorden pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Durrant taps out and this one is all over!
