The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlyuchenko wants to clinch up but Mursu keeps it at a distance.
Mursu lands with a shot to the body.
Pavlyuchenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mursu as he avoids it easily.
A big left from Pavlyuchenko misses.
Pavlyuchenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mursu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pavlyuchenko somewhat.
A jab from Mursu does it's job there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mursu stuns Pavlyuchenko with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Aleksander Pavlyuchenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pavlyuchenko is breathing heavily.
Mursu closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Pavlyuchenko! Mursu dives in looking to finish! Pavlyuchenko is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
