Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Home Grown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammook Polman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polman has chosen Dying Fetus - One Shot One Kill as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polman blocks a jab.
No joy there for Grown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Polman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Polman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Grown swings for the body but Polman moves out of range.
Grown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A thudding body kick lands there by Grown!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Polman counters with a big head kick but Grown shrugs it off.

Grown working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Polman's head.
Polman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Grown.
Grown throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grown connects with a nice short shot to Polman's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
