Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Petkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Kane is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Petkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Kane!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkov shoots in for a takedown but Kane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Petkov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Petkov persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.
Kane throws a lazy right hand but Petkov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kane missing with a left hand there. Petkov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Petkov lands with a nice combination. Kane backs away looking to recover.
Andy Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Petkov is defended easily by Kane.

Petkov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Kane throws a hook to the side of Petkov's head but Petkov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Petkov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Petkov shoots in and bounces Kane off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Petkov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Petkov tries to free his leg and advance position but Kane is retaining full guard.
Petkov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Petkov is looking to take a break and control but Kane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Petkov tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Kane tries to improve position but can't.

Petkov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kane, who protects the arm well.

Kane holds on to Petkov's head and controls the position momentarily.

Petkov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Petkov wants to control but Kane is keeping him busy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Petkov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kane is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Kane is looking to regain half guard here but Petkov keeps moving and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Kane's face as Petkov controls the position.
Petkov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kane keeps working.

Petkov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Kane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Petkov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kane avoids it really well and circles away.
Kane misses with a straight right.
Kane keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kane is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

and Petkov counters with a lovely straight right hand!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petkov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kane as he jumps to the side.
Kane looks to land a left hand but Petkov moved out of range nicely.

Petkov shoots in looking for a takedown but Kane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Petkov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kane might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Kane gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Petkov to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Petkov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kane slips a jab and a cross from Petkov.

Petkov closes the distance looking for a takedown. Petkov picks Kane up and slams him brutally to the floor. Kane is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
