Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger GUIDO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and alexandre zanelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
zanelli shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has GUIDO pinned against the cage. GUIDO gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

GUIDO scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
zanelli regains half guard.
GUIDO is trying to control. zanelli wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
GUIDO throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
GUIDO trying to control the pace.
GUIDO tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
GUIDO stops zanelli from getting back to his feet.

GUIDO wants to work for an arm triangle but zanelli is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

zanelli manages to escape and get back to his feet!

and GUIDO counters with a nice double leg into side control. zanelli won't be happy with that.
zanelli is looking to work his way out of this bad position but GUIDO is controlling him well.
GUIDO really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

GUIDO is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. zanelli knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
