Maier comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mas não bate. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maier tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mikhail swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mikhail throws a shot from downtown. Maier moves away and avoids it.
Mikhail misses with a two punch combination.
Maier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mikhail sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Maier has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mikhail defend it? Maier steps over the head and cranks it - Mikhail is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Maier!
