The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jenkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jenkins is pressing down on Edward's thigh, looking to free his foot. Edward is holding on for now.
Edward on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Edward tries to get out of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edward is looking for a sweep. Jenkins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Edward works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jenkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Edward is pulling down on Jenkins's head to control his posture.
Jenkins wants to control from the top but Edward keeps moving.

Jenkins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Edward works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Edward is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Edward has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Edward is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jenkins tries to roll over but Edward keeps him under control.

Edward moves into range and clinches up with Jenkins.

Edward ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Edward no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Edward has control of Jenkins's left arm, preventing Jenkins from doing any damage.
Edward has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Jenkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Edward swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Edward is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jenkins frees his head nicely. Oh but Edward has switched to an armbar! Jenkins is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
