The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckknuckle scores with a jab to the head.
No luck for Buckknuckle with that takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Buckknuckle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Benoit throws a leg kick which misses Buckknuckle's front leg but catches the back leg as Buckknuckle tries to avoid it.
Buckknuckle looks to throw the jab but Benoit is out of range.
Benoit displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buckknuckle.
Benoit keeps the fight on the outside.
Buckknuckle fails with an attempt to clinch.
Buckknuckle avoids the head kick by Benoit.
Buckknuckle moves in looking to clinch but Benoit pushes him off.
Buckknuckle misses with a takedown attempt - Benoit sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sean Benoit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elwood Buckknuckle.
Buckknuckle throws a big shot that misses.
Benoit throws a head kick that Buckknuckle semi-blocks.
Buckknuckle wants to clinch.

Benoit moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Buckknuckle fails with a takedown attempt.
A left lands for Benoit.
Sean Benoit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Benoit keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Buckknuckle.
Horrible takedown by Buckknuckle or perhaps it was just good defense by Benoit which made him look bad.

Buckknuckle misses with a body shot.
Buckknuckle tries for a takedown but Benoit sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Buckknuckle wants to clinch up but Benoit keeps it at a distance.
Benoit lands with a right hand.
Buckknuckle shoots for a double leg takedown but Benoit sprawls well. He's pushed Buckknuckle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Buckknuckle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Buckknuckle looks gassed!
Buckknuckle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Benoit stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Benoit wants it to stay on the feet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Benoit.
Benoit fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Buckknuckle.
Buckknuckle takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Buckknuckle is rocked!

Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Benoit! This one is all over!
