The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clayborne swats away the attempt to clinch by Cekada.
Clayborne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cekada stuffs the takedown.
Clayborne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Clayborne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cekada moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Clayborne fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Boris Cekada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Clayborne.

Clayborne moves into the clinch successfully.
Clayborne wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cekada gets underhooks to prevent Clayborne's takedown attempt.
Clayborne throws a head punch that misses.
Cekada drops down looking for an ankle pick but Clayborne pulls his leg out and moves away.

Clayborne throws a one two combo.
Clayborne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cekada tries to avoid it but Clayborne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cekada to the ground. Cekada escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cekada is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Clayborne knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cekada has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Clayborne is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cekada yanks on the arm and Clayborne is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cekada.
