Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fet Bard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ric Sparkler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparkler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by You Better Get Up. Ric Sparkler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ric Sparkler!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bard throws a chopping leg kick but Sparkler manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Sparkler lands a nice shot to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sparkler checks a leg kick.

Sparkler pushes Bard up against the cage in a clinch.

With the fighters up against the cage, Sparkler throws an elbow but misses.

Sparkler turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sparkler manages to end up in side control.
Sparkler misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Sparkler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sparkler throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Bard wants to get back to his feet.

Sparkler postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bard is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sparkler asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Bard is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Sparkler cracks Bard with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Sparkler immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Bard is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Sparkler!
