Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Pulver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Knox!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox works over Pulver's head and body with a nice combination.
Pulver throws a right and a left that Knox avoids nicely.
Pulver takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pulver swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Knox counters with a series of strikes. Pulver will be more careful next time no doubt.
Knox connects with a looping right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knox throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Pulver colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Knox as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Pulver is left battered and dazed whilst Knox and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Knox!
