Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Rosseti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Pacheco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitor Rosseti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Pacheco!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosseti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rosseti fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pacheco looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rosseti rushes Pacheco and presses him up against the cage.
Pacheco is trying to break the clinch but Rosseti has him pressed against the cage.

Rosseti works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Rosseti wants to pass the guard but Pacheco is keeping the position.
Pacheco has control of Rosseti's left arm, preventing Rosseti from doing any damage.

Pacheco isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rosseti stacks Pacheco on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rosseti!
Pacheco tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rosseti wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rosseti takes a little break here. Pacheco wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Pacheco tries to bench press Rosseti off him but Rosseti keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rosseti moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Rosseti seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pacheco for as long as he can get away with.
Pacheco is looking to regain half guard here but Rosseti keeps moving and retains side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Rosseti tries to advance to mount but Pacheco instead regains half guard.
Rosseti is pressing down on Pacheco's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pacheco is holding on for now.
Pacheco wants to improve his position but Rosseti is controlling well.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pacheco is on top in guard.

Rosseti's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Vitor Rosseti just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Rosseti closes the distance and clinches.

Rosseti tightens his grip and picks Pacheco up, before dumping him to the ground. Pacheco manages to land in guard.
Pacheco is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rosseti controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Pacheco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rosseti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Pacheco moves in looking to clinch but Rosseti pushes him off.
Rosseti closes the distance but Pacheco moves to the side

and Pacheco counters with a single leg into guard. Rosseti didn't expect that.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Rosseti bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Vitor Rosseti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Rosseti tries to free his leg and advance position but Pacheco is retaining full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rosseti passes Pacheco's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Pacheco wants to control but Rosseti is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rosseti is looking to advance position but Pacheco won't allow it.
Rosseti takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Pacheco is trying to maintain the position but Rosseti is very close to passing his half guard.
Pacheco tries to get to full guard but Rosseti has control of the leg.

Rosseti decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Rosseti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rosseti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Pacheco is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Victor Pacheco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Rosseti lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pacheco - he's out on his feet here! Rosseti follows up with another monster hook that separates Pacheco from consciousness! Pacheco falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rosseti stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vitor Rosseti!
