The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Spar.
Bimse is looking for a sweep.
Bimse is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Spar takes a little break here. Bimse wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Spar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bimse to see if he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bimse for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wrestling Spar.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Spar shoots in and drives through. Bimse sprawls well.

Spar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Spar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Spar dives in and grabs Bimse's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bimse pushes down on Spar's head and hops out.

Spar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bimse's guard.
