Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MMA pulls out of a head kick attempt.
MMA throws a head kick but Mayes moves out of range.
MMA shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mayes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
MMA wants to stand but Mayes has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mayes trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MMA stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mayes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
MMA makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayes is trying to control the position but MMA postures up.
Mayes is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! MMA rolls with it to try and escape but Mayes cranks on the arm and MMA is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
