Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lee Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: You have Aids. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Lee Paris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris walks into a jab.


It looks like Johnny Lee Paris has been cut.
Griffin looks to throw the jab but Paris is out of range.
Paris throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Griffin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paris was well out of range. Poor timing from Griffin.
Paris tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Griffin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Paris feints and then cracks Griffin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Griffin down.
Griffin misses the shot to the body.
Paris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Griffin manages to avoid it.
Griffin throws an overhand right that lands on Paris's shoulder, as Paris tries to avoid the shot.
Griffin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Paris throws out the jab.
Paris moves away from the strike by Griffin.
Paris walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Griffin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Paris throws a nice looking combination but Griffin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Griffin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Griffin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Paris misses with an uppercut. Griffin saw that one coming.
Paris takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Griffin just misses with a punch to the body.
Griffin misses with an uppercut. Paris saw that one coming.
Paris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Griffin tries to bum rush Paris with a series of wild strikes but Paris uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Paris misses with a body kick.
Paris finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Griffin swings for the body but Paris moves out of range.
Johnny Lee Paris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Griffin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Paris.
Griffin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Horrible takedown by Griffin or perhaps it was just good defense by Paris which made him look bad.
Griffin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Paris counters with a thumping low kick.

Griffin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Paris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Paris blocks a jab.

Griffin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Paris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Paris wants to control but Griffin postures up.
Griffin in side control lands a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griffin trying to control the position but Paris is working away.
Griffin looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Paris is avoiding damage well.
Griffin tries to stand but Paris is controlling his head.
Griffin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Paris sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Griffin stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Griffin punishes Paris's body with a nice straight punch.
Griffin connects with a high kick.
Paris throws a hook but Griffin blocks it.
Griffin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Paris throws out a loose jab but Griffin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Griffin lands with a slapping head kick.
Griffin works Paris's body with a nice hook.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Griffin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Paris manages to avoid it.
Griffin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Paris on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Griffin moves out of range of the strikes.
Paris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Griffin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Paris throws a looping overhand right but Griffin ducks down to avoid it.
Paris steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Griffin.
Griffin shoots in looking for a takedown but Paris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Griffin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Johnny Lee Paris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Griffin.
Griffin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Paris misses with a straight right.
Griffin misses with a looping right.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Griffin throws a head kick that misses.
Griffin missing with a left hand there. Paris was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Griffin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Griffin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Paris circles away quickly and effectively.
Peter Griffin seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Griffin throws a shot from downtown. Paris moves away and avoids it.
Paris finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Griffin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paris.

Paris throws a chopping leg kick but Griffin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Griffin catches Paris with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Paris counters with a series of strikes that sends Griffin to the canvas! Paris follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paris won't allow Griffin to sweep him here.

Paris tries to work over Griffin's front leg with a kick but Griffin checks it.

Paris avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Griffin throws a series of punches but Paris moves out of range.
Paris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That kick from Paris tenderised Griffin's leg. Griffin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Griffin throws a right and a left that both miss.
A chopping leg kick lands by Paris.
Paris is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Griffin.
A combination from Paris does no damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Paris wants to clinch up but Griffin keeps it at a distance.

Griffin slips a jab and a cross from Paris.
Paris looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Paris ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Griffin with a lazy takedown attempt
and Griffin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Paris connects with a leg kick. Griffin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Paris connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Paris lunges at Griffin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Griffin's hand.
Paris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Griffin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Griffin looks up at the clock. Bad move! Paris lands a right hand from hell, dropping Griffin. Paris pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Lee Paris!
