Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casparone tries for a takedown but Silakka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Casparone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silakka but Silakka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Casparone keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silakka.
Silakka throws out a leg kick but Casparone moves out of range and Silakka only half commits.
Casparone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silakka sprawls well initially but Casparone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Silakka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Casparone is working away from the top position though.
Casparone working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Silakka's thigh. Silakka counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Casparone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silakka swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Casparone is working Silakka over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silakka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Casparone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Casparone drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silakka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Casparone has Silakka in his guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Casparone has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Silakka has passed into side control.
Casparone is trying to get back to half guard.
Casparone is breathing heavily.

Casparone wants to improve his position but Silakka is controlling well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silakka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

and Casparone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Casparone.

Casparone wants to pass the guard but Silakka is keeping the position.

That's time! Casparone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Silakka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Casparone's guard.
Silakka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Casparone throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Casparone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silakka is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Casparone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silakka's back instead.
Casparone tries to get the hooks in deep but Silakka pushed the leg off.

Silakka turns into Casparone and is now in his guard.
Casparone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silakka stays in close to Casparone's body and controls the position.

Casparone has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Silakka doesn't defend quickly enough and Casparone has managed to lock this one up! Can Silakka escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Casparone on a fantastic submission victory.
