Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thierry Tevez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Azzlack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tevez tries a head kick but it misses.
Tevez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Azzlack closes the distance and clinches.

Azzlack throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Azzlack is looking for a triangle but Tevez pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tevez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Azzlack has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tevez has managed to get both his arms back between Azzlack's legs - danger averted.

Tevez tries to roll but Azzlack sticks to his back.
Azzlack has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Tevez's body.
Azzlack somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tevez covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Azzlack has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
