Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, No Chance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jovani Jones!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chance changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Chance manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chance shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Chance throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jones blocks a jab.
Chance looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Chance fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for No Chance. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chance with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jones to score with a decent uppercut.
Chance tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chance. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chance won't allow Jones to sweep him here.

Chance postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chance, into his guard.

Chance can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chance is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Chance is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Chance has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that No Chance will probably get the nod.
