Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Smooth Operator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Bykov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Operator comes into the arena with take your shirt off blaring out of the sound system. Bykov has chosen as his entrance music. Smooth Operator has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Operator misses with a few strikes there.
Operator throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Operator!
Operator misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Operator misses with a series of wild punches.
Operator lands with a cross.
Operator throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bykov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Operator tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bykov was well out of range. Poor timing from Operator.

Bykov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Operator is on top in guard.
Operator would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Operator postures up in Bykov's guard and throws a big left but Bykov blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Operator wants to control from the top but Bykov keeps moving.
Bykov working a defensive guard here.

Bykov is looking for a triangle but Operator pushes his legs off easily.
Operator postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bykov looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Bykov working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Operator has passed into half guard!
Bykov is not content to let Operator control the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Operator decides to stand and escape the position.
Operator digs a good hook to Bykov's body.
Bykov looks gassed!
Operator fails to land with a series of punches.
Bykov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Operator throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bykov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Operator throws an overhand right that has Bykov reeling! Operator follows up with more punches and Bykov is out cold! This one is all over!
