Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tauno Palo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Stern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Palo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Palo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stern getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Stern throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stern dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Palo tries to clinch but Stern is having none of it.
Stern lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Stern works Palo's body with a nice hook.

Stern drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Palo pushes Stern back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Stern tries to throw a body punch but Palo avoids it by throwing Stern back against the cage.

Palo swings wildly with an uppercut but Stern uses good head movement to avoid it.
