Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Araya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Araya might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Angel of Death. The crowd seem to be enjoying Zimmerman's choice of entrance music: Linkin Park-- What Ive Done. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Araya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Zimmerman!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman staying out of range there.
Araya scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Zimmerman scores with the left hand. Araya knows he should have avoided that one.
Araya avoids the head kick by Zimmerman.
Araya tries for a takedown but Zimmerman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zimmerman dips to his left and cracks Araya with an uppercut!
Zimmerman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Zimmerman is looking for a sweep. Araya is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zimmerman flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Zimmerman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Araya throws a strike but Zimmerman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Araya working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zimmerman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zimmerman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Araya really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Araya is trying to control the position but Zimmerman postures up.
Zimmerman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Araya works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Zimmerman stands and steps away. Araya gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Araya shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Araya is breathing heavily.
Araya sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zimmerman is working to get back to half guard.
Araya putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Zimmerman tries to hold on but Araya pushes him away.
Zimmerman tries to improve his position but instead Araya has taken his back!
I really don't envy Zimmerman right now.
Araya is trying to stick to Zimmerman's back but Zimmerman is turning into Araya. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Araya's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Zimmerman.
Zimmerman postures up in Araya's guard and throws a big left but Araya blocks it.
Zimmerman thows a big elbow that misses.

Araya has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zimmerman stands up over Araya, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Eric Zimmerman will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Araya is rocked!
Tom Araya is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Zimmerman looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Oh Araya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zimmerman connects with a leg kick. Araya looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Zimmerman in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Araya stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zimmerman.

Zimmerman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zimmerman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Zimmerman throws a hook to the side of Araya's head but Araya sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Araya throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zimmerman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zimmerman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That kick from Zimmerman tenderised Araya's leg. Araya is trying to keep his angry face on.
Araya shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Zimmerman lands a high kick!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Araya takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Zimmerman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Araya looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Araya takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Zimmerman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick by Zimmerman - that's a beauty! Araya is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Zimmerman can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
