Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araya looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Araya is defended easily by Suk Yong.
No joy there for Suk Yong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Araya throws a series of punches but Suk Yong moves out of range.
Araya is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Araya moves into the clinch successfully.
Suk Yong content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Suk Yong tries to score a body lock takedown but Araya shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Araya is looking to break free of the clinch but Suk Yong has double underhooks.

Suk Yong tries to roll over but Araya keeps him under control.

Suk Yong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Araya keeps working.
Suk Yong swings around for an armbar but Araya sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Suk Yong's guard.

Araya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suk Yong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
