Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Mikhailovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Venturia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Mikhailovich connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mikhailovich shoots in for a takedown but Venturia shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Venturia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mikhailovich is just riding it out for now. Venturia eventually gives up the hold.

Mikhailovich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Venturia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mikhailovich has managed to get both his arms back between Venturia's legs - danger averted.

Mikhailovich is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Venturia has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Venturia!

Venturia decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
