Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jubal Early (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jubal Early will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder looks to score with a jab to the body but Early is just out of range.
A head kick misses from Early.
Early throws a good cross that connects.
Early tries to clinch there but Thunder circles away.
Thunder scores with a head kick. Early tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Early keeps Thunder at a distance using the push kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Thunder.

Early wants to clinch up but Thunder keeps it at a distance.

Thunder shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Early has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thunder is working away from the top position though.
Thunder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Early is looking to control Thunder's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Early avoid being mounted?

Thunder is looking for a kimura but Early is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Thunder to get the leverage.
Early wants to improve his position but Thunder is controlling well.

Thunder maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Early could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Thunder has cracked it and Early is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Thunder!
